Four months ago, as I hoisted my aching body out of bed I realized that I was at a crossroads in terms of my health and well being. It had taken five years to put this extra weight on and I knew it was time to do something. I had been researching programs and had spoken to a friend whose wife had lost forty pounds through Sure Slim. I was going away for a holiday and booked an appointment with the Sure Slim consultant for August 4th. That was the first step. I was committed and had "hope".
When I went in for the consultation I was surprised and pleased that the program was personalized. They did some blood tests to ensure that the program met my needs. I could not start for a week so I ate like a fiend. Cupcakes, chocolate, you name it. Having gorged myself for a week, I was ready.
I knew that I needed an accountability system (a conscience) to keep me on track. I report in once a week. I created my own set of goals and my own tracking system to complement the one Sure Slim had in place. The consultant I worked with is excellent and she thoughtfully sorted through my questions while being supportive and educational in her approach.
This experience has been life changing for me. I eat regularly, I am never hungry and I have more energy than I have had in years. My arthritis is minimal and I feel fantastic. I have gone from a size 14 to a size 6 or 8 depending on the clothes. I have lost 30 lbs in 3 months. My goal is to lose ten more pounds before December 31st and I am confident in my ability to do so with the support of Sure Slim.
The interesting part is that I do not feel that December is the finish or the end of the program as the consultant has taught me how to eat properly and integrate it into my life.
I have not felt deprived the entire time and have nothing but positive comments about the program and the consultants.
I am a very strong advocate for Sure Slim and will tell anyone who listens about the merits.
